CJ Antiques has dated this Sheraton Revival Display Cabinet to the Edwardian era.
A superb quality Sheraton revival antique inlaid mahogany display cabinet. This cabinet is firmly attributed to the London makers Edwards and Roberts. The top is surmounted by an original gilt bronze gallery with a marquetry inlaid frieze. To the centre are a pair of cupboard doors with panels of inlay depicting musical instruments in boxwood, harewood and satinwood above which is an open recess flanked by two astragal glazed doors with two drawers to either side. The whole is united by a display shelf and raised on tapered legs and spade feet.
