Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco silver barware from the 1920s and 1930s is characterised by clean geometric silhouettes, streamlined forms, and subtle surface embellishments such as fine engine turning or guilloche pattern work.

Traditional silver hip flasks were crafted from solid sterling silver or silver plate, often featuring a gently curved body designed to sit comfortably against the torso, paired with a hinged bayonet locking cap.

Authentic British pieces carry hallmark stamps indicating silver purity, makers mark, assay office, and date letter, alongside period details like geometric engine turning and bayonet twist caps.

A vintage silver hip flask serves as an elegant accent when displayed on a wooden bar cart, curated sideboard tray, or within a dark wood gentlemans library or study bookcase.

Gently wipe the exterior with a soft silver-polishing cloth to remove tarnish while preserving the natural patina, and ensure the interior is rinsed with warm water and thoroughly dried after use.
