Turned cistern cover to the base with strung banding. The silvered scale with the makers name Wisker, York; John Wisker was recorded as making barometers in Spurriergate, York between 1804 until 1822. Fully overhauled movement, the case in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 39" long x 5" wide at the pediment and 2.25" wide at the trunk x 2" maximum depth.
