Victorian Polished Oak Starburst Banjo Barometer

A mid Victorian polished oak starburst surround banjo barometer c.1880. The carved solid figured oak case with starburst surround to the dial edge, rolled top forming a pediment with leaf design decoration below and matching decoration to the base. Porcelain dial with aneroid movement sat behind, glazed view window with central reading marker mounted in a polished brass bezel sat over the top. Matching thermometer scale above with original mercury action thermometer. Presented in excellent original condition, fully serviced and working. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
