N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The dial is set up with Roman Numerals and is also marked 'SWISS MADE' . To the Center is marked ' ATMOS JAEGER-LE COULTRE FOURTEEN (14) JEWELS SWISS 540'. The glass to the front is marked 'JAEGER-LE COULTRE'.

The clock has a self-winding mechanism powered by changes in barometric pressure. From the serial number which is 614063 and we understand that this clock dates to the 1980’s when the serial numbers ran from 520,000 to 649,999 and the calibre was 540 as this clock is. The underside of the clock is also marked 'CAL 540 JAEGER LE COULTRE SWISS MADE METAL'.
The case has levelling feet built into the base of the case. It also has a lever to lock the pendulum down before moving to clock.
The clock runs beautifully.
