Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Chippendale Revival furniture refers to late 19th and early 20th-century pieces crafted in the style of 18th-century designer Thomas Chippendale, featuring carved mahogany frames, serpentine top rails, pierced splats, and cabriole legs.

Solid mahogany was the primary timber choice due to its durability and fine grain, paired with woven tapestry or damask textile upholstery and traditional mortise and tenon joinery.

Look for hand-carved decoration, natural timber oxidation beneath the seat frame, authentic wear to ball-and-claw feet, and construction methods typical of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.

Position the armchair as a standalone accent piece alongside minimalist modern furniture, or integrate it into a reading corner paired with a modern floor lamp to highlight its carved silhouette.

Dust the timber regularly with a soft cloth and apply beeswax polish sparingly along the wood grain once a year, while vacuuming the textile upholstery gently using a soft brush attachment.
