The tankard with a one pint capacity. The reeded and rounded banded rim, over the straight sided body, tapering outward and downward, within reeded and rounded bands, to meet the spreading foot rim, likewise with reeded and rounded banding. The foot rim enlcosing the slightly receseed base.

A noticeably heavy gauge/weight of silver. Hallmarked for Roberts and Belk, Sheffield 1932, and engraved for The original silver retailers, Penlington & Batty of Liverpool.
