Description

A massive contemporary yew wood refectory table circa 1960. The wrought iron rusted base is expertly hand crafted, with large flowing ferns across the stretchers with fine and shapely ends and interlocking flower heads. The figured yew top in its natural form, and with superb colour and patination to the surface. The natural faults in the timber showing the inner knarls, and other areas with have carefully hand beaten copper sheets affixed.

This is a very fine and naturalistic table, and is of excellent quality.

The table comes in three sections, the wrought iron base is all one unit and the top comes in two sections which bolt to the base.
