A boxed pair of Victorian silver napkin rings with clear hallmarks for London 1892 and makers mark for John Newton Mappin (who established renowned firm Mappin & Webb). The napkin rings design is rather rare being a dense floral and branch design within smooth rims, and with a vacant ellipse shape shield. The napkin rings come with their original magenta velvet and satin lined box, with gilt inscription for Mappin & Webb in the lid. In excellent condition and superb quality, with a good early date. Box dimensions 15cm w, 8cm d, 6.5cm h.
