12" painted dial with Roman numerals and the makers name, and blued steel hands. Sat behind a glazed hinged polished brass bezel forming a dial door. The 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement and original chain drive. W. R. Lisle and Son's are recorded as working in Fore St, Exeter from the 1870's. This excellent example in superb condition with a rich polish to the casework, fully serviced and working. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
