18th Century Italian Church Candlesticks

Description

A pair of tall 18th century wood church candlesticks which are decorated in a thin layer of gesso and then silver gilt. Each have allover raised scroll carving and three paw feet.

There is much wear with some of the bare wood showing and some losses.

They are however sturdy and have a beautiful patina. We have no intention of having them restored as they are thoroughly charming and the antiquity evident.

We can deliver free of charge of charge in UK mainland and can calculate the cost for international; delivery. Payment by bank transfer, PayPal or card via telephone
