Quarter columns to the trunk with shaped top door and inlaid band to match the hood. Canted corners to the base with moulded plinth below and small ogee bracket feet forming the foot. The 8 day bell striking movement with anchor escapement sat behind a painted dial. The dial the strawberry blossom decoration to the corners and birds of paradise to the centre, typical of Lancashire clocks of this period. Roman numerals and blued steel hands, secondary seconds and calendar dial.
