Description

Thomas Rose Miles was an English painter working mostly between 1869-1910. He painted mainly landscape and marine scenes including views around the coast of the north east of England, often featuring a human element. He exhibited with the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Hibernian Society and Arthur Tooth and Sons Gallery in London.

"Summer Time Near Perivale Middlesex" is an oil painting on canvas measuring 10"x 14". It is signed lower left and is framed giving an overall size of 15"x 19". On the back is a nice original inscription giving the title and location of the view.
