Victorian Burr Walnut Break Front Open Bookcase

A mid Victorian burr walnut break front open bookcase with adjustable shelves c.1875. The burr veneered top with moulded edge sat over a break front base, the centre section wider in proportion, narrower sections slightly shallower in depth sat to each side. Burr veneered apron to the top and panels to the sides and centre, moulded edge to the base with apron foot base; figured timbers to the sides. Each section with adjustable shelves, black tooled leather dust flaps to the edge of each. Overlapped top allowing flush fitting to a wall, framed and panelled back.
