Super antique ebony pace walking stick or cane.Two piece ebony pace stick with solid brass and steel fittings. Usually carried by a Warrant Officer or Drill Sergeant or instructor.Twin hinged ebony legs which are held together at the base with a brass screw fitting so that it can be carried under the arm. This unscrews to free the legs that can then use the brass measure folded within the body to fix the distance for various lengths of marching pace. This bar is secured with the brass crew removed from the base.
