French Fruitwod Low Table

19th century
Description

A stunning French panelled freestanding worktable with bread slides and two drawers, now reduced in height as a statement coffee or low table.

Circa early 19th century, it has fabulous wear to the turned legs. The two bread slides pull out to reveal a storage space behind.

The top is mitred and has signs of wear from previous use. This is a true one-off piece, made for a French country house.
