Tunbridge Ware Jewellery Box. circa 1860.

A very good quality tessellated Rosewood box with original key and two trays lined with blue velvet.

The thatched cottage I believe may be Hurst Wood cottage at Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells but would be pleased to hear comments. A very rare item.

The broad side banding is of oak leaves and the top panel work by Henry

Hollamby.
