Period Oak 10 Seater Refectory Table

An early period oak 10 seat refectory table with carved top rails and H stretcher base c.1690. The heavy planked top with framed edges overlapping at the ends to allow seating. Sat over a carved top rail with decoration to all four sides, turned baluster shaped legs set to the corners. Supporting H shaped base stretcher with moulded top edges. Seats four to each side and one on each end in comfort, the top removes for ease of transport. Superb rich colour and deep polish, very sturdy and useable.
