Victorian Walnut Tantalus Box

A fine quality mid Victorian burr walnut four bottle tantalus box with original fitted interior and pint decanters c.1875. The burr veneered box with brass bound edges and recessed campaign style brass handles to the sides. Bramah lock and key to the front in working order, opens to reveal a superb original fitted interior. The original deep blue velvet lined interior in superb condition, four spaces to hold the decanters and gilt brass tasting glass holder to the lid. The four original cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers in mint condition, original matching tasting glass to the lid. Gilt finished lock plate, hinges and Manchester retailers label.
