A good quality early 19th.Century Irish figured mahogany wine cellarette by Robert Strahan & co. of Dublin. Of classical sarcophagus form with the lid lifting to reveal the 8 internal compartments and the makers paper label and impressed marks Strahan & Co with registration number 3999. The cellarette benefits from having good quality brass hinges with working lock and key. The whole raised on turned and carved feet with original sunken brass casters. Original finish with a lovely warm patina. Condition - fine and original. Dimensions:- Height…21’’/ 53.5cm. Width…29.75’’/ 75.5cm. Depth…20.25’’/ 51.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £48.
