Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Fairground carousel panels originated in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries as decorative decorative structural elements designed to conceal the internal machinery of steam-driven rides and attract fairgoers.

These panels were primarily carved from lightweight softwoods or hardwoods, painted with oil-based polychrome pigments, and decorated with gilding, composition moulding, and mirrored glass accents.

Authentic period pieces exhibit hand-carved tool marks, layered lead-based paint wear, natural wood contraction, and mounting points on the reverse consistent with fairground ride installation.

Fairground panels are commonly mounted vertically as architectural wall art or arranged alongside contemporary photography to create contrast in eclectic interiors.

Preservation requires keeping the item in a climate-controlled environment away from direct sunlight and applying microcrystalline wax to stabilize flaking paint and protect original gilded surfaces.
