Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this Pair Bronze Marble Candelabra to the Regency era.
Each with a central candle holder raised by a leaf cast drip pan and gathered leaf stem.
The boss raised over the gathered leaf capital of the Sienna marble column, of re entrant triangular form, as the column tapers outward and downward, to fit within a rising leaf and tulip decorated cup, over a concave socle, resting on a triform base, as leaves and tulip fall to scrolled feet. The whole standing on a re entrant triangular plinth, decorated with scrolled leaves.
All well detailed and with a very good patination.
Date circa 1830.
