Reeded brass inlaid quarter columns either side of the dial with fruit wood stringing and decorative inlays below the dial. Fretwork sound frets to the sides. Sat on four small brass bun feet. Convex silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands bearing the makers name Russells Ltd 18 Church St Liverpool, sat behind a matching convex glass set in a hinged opening brass bezel. The 8 day double fusee movement with anchor escapement and original chain drives, striking on a gong on the hours and half hours. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina, the movement fully serviced and working. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
