Moorcroft Pomegranate Jar and Cover

An early Moorcroft pomegranate pattern jar with Tudoric pewter rim and lid, signed William Moorcroft c.1920. Bulbous potted base decorated with a continuous band of tube lined pomegranates, some of the fruit cut and showing the seeds. Superbly painted fruit in Autumn reds, oranges and soft greens set against a dark blue ground. Planished pewter rim with matching push fit pewter lid, finial forming the handle to the centre. The pewter stamped with Liberty's trademark Tudoric, the base signed in full by William Moorcroft. Presented in superb condition with no damage or restoration, small difficult to find firing bubble to base of the jar. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers. The shipping contract is therefore between you the customer and the shippers (not Sturmans Antiques).
