Arundel Clocks has dated this Gothic Fusee Skeleton Clock to the 1890s.
I have for sale a Victorian English fusee Scott memorial skeleton clock made around 1890s with the original marble base and dome with fine six spoke wheel work a really nice original genuine quality built clock not a sixties kit or copy and is a Scott and his dog memorial clock.

The Case
The case/frame is in solid brass and stands bottom of base to top of glass 52cm high 28cm wide with a depth of 17cm it is in perfect condition standing on a solid marble base, it is very heavy with thick heavy plates, a top quality old clock and the figures are still fully gilded again in stunning condition, the dome is a little big and hangs over at the front and rear by 5 mil but sits on the rope and not noticed on display please see attached photographs.

The Dial
The dial is in good original condition silvered and black Roman numerals, the clock also retain its original black spade hands.
The Movement
The movement is an eight day time only , the movement has been fully ultra-sonic cleaned hand polished then serviced and oiled so keeping great time over the eight days via the original pendulum to the rear run via the original fusee chain.

Overall a beautiful English skeleton clock ,that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
