Impressive Pair of Large Victorian Satsuma Vases

An impressive large pair of Victorian hand painted Satsuma vases in mint condition c.1880. The tall potted vases with slightly bulbous top sections with flared rims above. Superbly hand painted in typical Satsuma style in great detail with oriental figures and panels of flowers to the sides, base and rims. The decoration in classical burnt oranges, blues and gilt relief. Each vase signed to the base and presented in perfect unrestored condition. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Each measures 16" tall x 5" maximum width.
