Famille Rose porcelain, known in China as fencai or yangcai, is a category of ceramic art characterised by opaque pink and pastel overglaze enamels. Introduced during the eighteenth century Qing Dynasty under the Reign of Emperor Kangxi, the technique was heavily influenced by European enamel crafts introduced by Jesuit missionaries.

These ceramics were formed from kaolin clay fired at high temperatures to produce white porcelain.
