Moorcroft Leaf and Berries Flambe Vase

An immaculate Moorcroft leaf & berries flambe glazed vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1930. Squat form with shallow neck, flared rim above. Superbly decorated with a continuous band of tube lined autumn leaves and berries. The background washed in soft greens and rich blues, the leaves painted in autumn reds and yellows with purple berries set in between, over glazed in a light flambe glaze. Impressed to the base with the Moorcroft factory impressions and over signed with William Moorcrofts signature in blue, indicating a date of manufacture c.1930. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no scratches or chips. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 4.25" high x 5.5" diameter.
