A superbly detailed late Victorian model of a short haired Dachshund by collected German maker WMF c.1890. The cast pewter model with original silver plated finish excellent detail throughout depicting a short haired Dachshund in a standing position. Bears the makers mark to the underside of the front paw of collected and sort after German maker WMF along with EP - electroplate silver mark and serial number dating this model to circa 1890.
