Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Serpent motif jewellery became highly popular during the nineteenth century, symbolising eternity, wisdom, and enduring affection. The style continued into the early twentieth century and the Art Deco period, combining symbolic heritage with sleek, stylized forms.

Rings from this era were predominantly crafted in solid yellow or rose gold, often featuring flush-set or star-set diamonds and precious gemstones along the serpents head. The coiled design was formed through hand casting or hand shaping heavy gold stock.

Authentic pieces from the 1920s feature British hallmarks or makers marks stamped inside the band, indicating gold purity and date. They also display period-appropriate gemstone cuts, such as single-cut or old European-cut diamonds, alongside characteristic wear on the interior band.

A gold snake ring functions as a versatile statement piece that can be worn solo on the index or middle finger, or stacked alongside understated modern gold bands for a layered look.

Clean the ring gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces, and store it separately in a fabric-lined box to prevent scratching.
