Convex porcelain enamel dial bearing the makers name Baillon, Paris (Jean Baptiste Baillon, Paris 1727 - 1772), sat behind a matching convex glass set in a hinged opening door. The fine quality bell striking movement striking on the hours and half hour, 8 day duration with anchor escapement. Presented in superb original condition, fully overhauled and working. Measures 25" high x 14" wide x 7" deep at the pediment x 6" dial diameter.
