Set of Quality Regency Library Steps

A set of Regency period mahogany library steps with concealed compartment and leather treads c.1825. Substantial mahogany veneered construction with three steps, the centre step pulling out to reveal a concealed compartment. Each step with tan tooled hide treads and the fronts of the steps with moulded decoration forming a panel to each. Sat on small turned mahogany legs. Superb quality and condition, very sturdy and useable. Measures 28" deep x 17.5" wide x 27" high at the top step.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
