A hugely decorative trompe l'oeil painting of large proportion on a wooden panel. It depicts a still life of flowers in an urn and set into a pillared alcove.

Painted in acrylics and with much skill and detail, it is framed in a good gilded frame and signed Ruth Potter, dated 1942.
