The double fitted shelved doors with lock and catch release open to reveal an original fitted interior with two rows of glass bottles with stoppers, labels and contents to the doors and a single row to the fitted back section. Two pull out compartments for storage of dry goods to the centre and a larger drawers each side for holding the pestle and mortar etc. Two other larger drawers holding various instruments, scales and weights, lints, bandages etc. The original glass bottles, many with contents bearing the retailers labels V. H. Watts, Rainham, Kent (trading 1855 - 1982). Separate poison compartment to the rear with concealed release, the cover sliding off to reveal a row of bottles. Presented in superb original condition with a deep shine to the casework. Measures 11.5" wide x 7.25" deep x 13" high.
