Description

A superior quality 18th Century George II Triple Top Card Table Circa. This Table is an outstanding colour and In the most untouched original condition, made from fine and well figured cuban Mahogany. The piece stands very well having well drawn cabriole legs and nice proportions. The top opens to reveal wonderful matched single boards of solid Mahogany and then again to reveal the baize covered playing surface. The fitting to the gateleg that supports the leaves as they fold over is very well made and in perfect condition. The original hinges stamped with the famous makers name H Tibats, hinges produced by the firm can be seen on many of the finest quality examples of the period.
