The back of the frame is held in place with swivel catches, and the aperture takes a photo size of approx. 3.5'' x 5.5''. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side of the frame for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1927 and makers mark for Henry Matthews.
