Good quality set of six walnut Arts & Crafts style dining chairs by Joseph Johnstone Ltd of Lochwinnoch c.1910. Solid walnut frames with tall backrests featuring simple moulded roundels to the top rail over broad shaped slats and with square pommel tops to the rear stiles. Loose seat pads (seat height 18'') freshly upholstered in a soft pale grey chenille. Raised on square tapering front legs with a flared foot, joined with H stretchers for strength. Large Registered Design number on the underside of each chair. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
