A stylish 1930''s Mappin & Webb four slice silver toast rack with a spade shaped handle. The rack is formed of wide flat bands of silver curving smoothly inwards towards the base, which has straight ends and four integral feet.  It is a smart design with Art Deco appeal, and would make a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift. The toast rack is hallmarked Sheffield 1938 and bears both the makers mark and stamp for well known silversmiths Mappin and Webb.
