Description

A very ornate and fabulous 19th Century Scottish gilt metal cigar box in the form of a book. It is cedar lined and extravagantly decorated allover with thistles and foliage. The clasp fits tightly so that it would be possible to use it for cigars or any other use.

There is a makers mark in the form of a dog but I am unable to identify it.

A really fabulous item which weighs 1.6 kgs. A unique piece which would make a wonderful gift and could be used for not only for cigars.
