Art Deco 0.80 Carat No Oil Emerald Solitaire Ring, Circa 1920

Description

The ideal emerald engagement ring. It’s incredibly difficult to find emeralds which have undergone no oiling (clarity enhancement) and this one – originating from Colombia – displays the ideal blue/green hue. The stone is secured in an eight-claw yellow gold coronet setting, accented by platinum shoulders set with four (two either side) eight cut diamonds, to D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an emerald report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the emerald shows no evidence of clarity enhancement, and is Colombian in origin.

Cut – Rectangular cushion cut emerald with old cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Clarity – The emerald is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat –The emerald is approximately 0.80 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.20 carat.

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The emerald is 6.1 x 5mm. Sits 4.8mm from the finger.

Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
