A fabulous pair of vases in sought after Queen''s Burmese ware. These delightful pieces were made in the latter part of the 19th Century and are most likely the work of Thomas Webb''s. The body has the characteristic finish with graduated pink into cream. The uranium content causes the vase to glow green under UV light. The body is of fluted form, with gentle ribbing and a flared, undulating rim. Each vase is exquisitely hand painted with sprigs of leaves and berries. Collectible examples, these lovely pieces would make an excellent gift idea being both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
