Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Art Deco Sapphire Ring to the 1920s.
The sapphire is secured by four double claws and flanked by a pair of 0.50 carat (approx.) old European cut diamonds in five claw coronet settings, leading to a slender platinum shank. A ring of unsurpassable quality.

Accompanied by a report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamond are I to J.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 and SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.00 carat and the diamonds are approximately 0.50 carat each.
Circa – 1925.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 6.8 x 4.7mm. From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 14.8mm. The ring is 6.8mm at the widest point and sits 5.3mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
