Decorative carved frieze below the plinth foot with small polished brass bun feet. Brass framed door with bevelled edge glass, silvered dial sat behind with an engraved chapter ring. The top quality 8 day three train movement with anchor escapement; Westminster quarter chiming on a set of coiled gongs and hour striking on a separate gong (see video to hear and see in operation). Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case, the dial re-silvered and the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 7.75" wide x 11" high including carry handle x 6" deep.
