Cast brass bezel with glazed view window forming the door over the dial. The original painted dial with the Royal insignia for George V along with the makers name, Ingram Bros, a highly regarded maker with clocks recorded in the Royal Collection and noted suppliers to the British government. The Original single fusee movement with chain drive and anchor escapement, stamped GR V to the movement indicating a government supplied clock, previous service history attached to the side door dating back to 1928. Superior quality and presented in excellent condition with a deep shine and original patina, fully overhauled and working. Measures 12" dial x 15" diameter overall x 6" deep.
