The brass 8 day movement with original gilt finish, remote pressure adjustment and bone scaled mercury action thermometer set to the side, fully serviced and working. Bears the makers name along with serial number dating the instrument to c.1910 for Manchester maker Thomas Armstrong & Brother. Superior quality and presented in excellent condition with a deep polish to the case; original dated presentation plaque to the front, could be removed or turned and engraved on the blank side.
