Superb Large Victorian Wheel Barometer

A superb quality large proportioned Victorian carved walnut cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement c.1885. The turned solid walnut surround with crisp decorative carving and rich colour; polished brass hanging loop to the top. Visible skeletonised movement set to the centre surrounded by a porcelain enamel dial. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and full working order. Measures 12" diameter x 2.5" deep x 13" high including hanging loop.
