Harrington Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Edward Lowe was a small silver maker active from 1770-1777.
Both cellars boast thick snugly fitting handblown blue glass liners, full of bubbles and character.

There are some small signs of wear commensurate with age, most notably a small historic repair to the back of one cellar (please see photographs), but generally both cellars remain in a very good attractive condition.
