Michael Armson (Antiques) Ltd has dated these Regency Mahogany Dining Armchairs to the Regency era.
The reeded arms are supported by turned shaped supports. The seat frames are panelled and the chairs stand on finely turned front legs. They have upholstered drop in seats which can be removed very easily. The legs are united by turned cross stretchers. These chairs are of Scottish origin and are in excellent strong condition. Sizes: 20”(51cms) wide. 21”(53cms) deep, 34”(86cms) high, Seat height: 18”(46cms) Date circa 1810.
