Pair Meissen porcelain figures, 20th Century. Modelled after J.J. Kaendler and P.Reineke, as the ‘Japanese Couple’. The lady, holding a parasol, and dressed elegantly, her dress painted in Indianische Blumen. The man with a magnificent moustache, and holding his hat in his right hand.
Both figures set upon circular bases, edged with gilt rocaille moulding.
Underglaze blue crossed swords marks, and model numbers to the bases.
