Description

19th century french inlaid fruitwood extending dining table circa 1880.

Fine quality french farmhouse draw leaf dining table.  rectangular top with central inlaid star motif, complemented by further designs in each corner and border in the same material.  seats 6 when not extended and 8-10 when fully extended.  table can also be used with just 1 leaf in operation.

Carved shaped apron detailed with applied rosettes and carved acanthus leaves to the legs.  raised on 4 cabriole legs with carved scrolling feet.

Recently fully restored in our workshop, evidence of slight age splits to top surface, which have been restored, minor surface marks to woodwork.

Ready for everyday use.
